GCO Awards

Holden Forests & Gardens is made up of two of Northeast Ohio’s most important environmental and cultural institutions —  the Holden Arboretum and Cleveland Botanical Garden. As the 12th largest public garden in the country, Holden Forests & Gardens has over 21,000 member households and an annual attendance of over 350,000.

 An Independent Liaison for Area Garden Clubs with Holden Forests & Gardens.  In support of the vision of Holden Forests and Gardens, we promote opportunities for education, volunteering, exploration, and participation in special events to area, Affiliate Member Garden Clubs to ensure their inclusion and representation. 

The Garden Club of Ohio, Inc., a federated garden club, is a 501c3 non-profit volunteer organization. It is open to anyone in the state of Ohio who is a member of a local garden club.  GCO currently has 3,109 individuals in 113 clubs, plus 18 members-at-large, in clubs across the state of Ohio. The Garden Club of Ohio, Inc., is a member of the Central Atlantic Region of National Garden Clubs, Inc.
