Please reach us at bcgc1929@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Beach Cliff Garden Club was established in 1929 with the purpose of furthering knowledge and interest in growing flowers and vegetables, encouraging their use in bringing order and beauty into the homes of members, and to promote conservation and civic planting.

  • Educate and enhance members' knowledge of floral design and horticulture.
  • Present an educational program annually as part of the Rocky River Library Children's Program.
  • Sponsored the purchase the installation of a Blue Star Memorial in honor of US Veterans.
  • Plant flowers for and maintain the Rocky River Clock Tower Garden.
  • Decorate the Rocky River Library Christmas tree each year.
  • Decorate a tree, doorway or table for the Annual Cleveland Botanical Garden holiday event (Twinkle in the 216, formerly "Glow").
  • Provide a planter for the Cleveland Botanical Garden Hershey Children's Garden.
  • Participate in the National Garden Club of Ohio's Penny Pines program.

Membership is open to residents of Rocky River who have an interest in gardening. We are a working organization and encourage members to become actively involved in our committees and community service projects.

We accept donations to our general fund as well as the Mary Gillingham Educational Fund. Please contact  us at bcgc1929@gmail.com for more information or click here to make a donation online. Thank you!
